The application at the center of Nero 6 remains Nero Burning ROM (now in version 6) with its tried and tested and even more reliable burning engine.
We have also added a large number of new and interesting sub-applications to make Nero 6 a complete solution.
Nero Burning ROM 6
You will notice the new design of the interface at a glance. It features modern icons and is very easy to grasp. And you can now continue working with Nero even while the burning procedure is going on and much more besides.
Nero StartSmart
The new Nero StartSmart project launcher holds all the activities together and simplifies working with any of the applications.
NeroVision Express 2 In the editing field, a great number of new features have been added to this well-known video authoring tool. The DVD video (VR) format for DVD+R/+RW is now supported. New features also include the compilation and editing of slide shows - and lots more besides.
Nero Wave Editor 2
This program for editing and recording audio files has also been improved by adding numerous new effects and editing tools.
Nero SoundTrax
You can mix and edit your music professionally with this brand new application.
Nero ShowTime
The new addition here is the integrated DVD player for playing back your video files. You will also be impressed by Nero ShowTime's image quality and clear sound.
InCD 4
Our intelligent package writing solution now has been improved though the use of SmartDetect technology, which automatically recognizes new recorders
