Details

At last you can say goodbye to cupboards full of videocassettes! DaViDeo for VHS cassette allows you to tidy up your video library in one go by copying your videos to CD-ROM in VideoCD or SuperVideoCD format. Both of these are compatible with most home DVD systems. Once on CD, your videos will last much longer and take up a lot less space.

RECORDING
Copy any videotape to your hard disk in real time.
Compatible with all picture formats (e.g. 4/3 and 16/9).
For all standard PC inputs (S-Video, analogue, combined).
Also records videos from different sources (e.g. digital cameras, the Internet, digital video cameras, TV).
Displays the film size and the CD capacity required for burning.
Compatible with many other codecs.

EDITING
Cut and edit any sequence (e.g. to remove commercial breaks).
Easy interface with video previews, fast forward and return, etc…
Picture format modification and correction tools.

COMPRESSION
High video compression to create MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 films.
Preview function which instantly displays the scene you are working on.
Adjustable compression rate (e.g. one film on 2 CDs).

BURNING
