"Premiere had no trouble importing TIFF and WAV files. Not surprisingly, Premiere offers special synergy with other Adobe formats and can rasterize Illustrator files and import individual layers of a Photoshop file. Transition and filter effects are plentiful. ... Premiere has some special strengths, specifically its support for analog video and its ability to interface with high-end video-editing suites. For example, unlike the other products here, Premiere can generate Edit Decision Lists (EDLs) that target specific video-editing suites, rather than generic text EDLs. ...
